小さな布と布をつなぎ合わせて作る、パッチワークキルトの世界で、あえてとてつもなく大きな
ピースワークで、ダイナミックでインパクトのあるモダニズム作品を作りたいとデザインした作品です。
日本の障子に浮かぶ、線の裸婦像と英字の「RAFU」は、ピーシング、キルティング、文字デザイン
裸婦デザイン、布使い全てにおいて、極限まで削ぎ落とした引き算のキルトで「横たわる裸婦」と
姉妹作品でもあります。また、接着バイヤステープ布を裸婦像や障子グリッドに効果的に使用しています。

In the world of patchwork quilting, where small pieces of fabric are pieced together, I dared to create a dynamic and impactful modernist piece of work.

The nude woman design and the use of fabric are all subtractive quilts that have been cut down to the absolute minimum.
It is also a sister piece to "Lying Nude. The adhesive bias tape cloth is used effectively for the nude figure and the shoji grid.
