神話の国・吉備（岡山）を幾度となく訪れ、印象に残った名所や風景を単純化。上段左から後楽園、瀬戸大橋、アッシリアレリーフ、吉備津神社、後楽園幻想庭園。下段左から岡山城、大原美術館。倉敷美観地区、岡山地図を歴史的建築物のナマコ壁の蔵の中に収める。
世界に日本の名所が紹介できたならば、どんなに素敵だろうかと、私のジャポニズムをキルトで表現した作品です。

Simplification of famous places and scenery that left an impression on me during my many visits to Kibi (Okayama), the land of myths. Top row from left: Korakuen Garden, Seto Bridge, Assyrian Relief, Kibitsu Shrine, Korakuen Fantasy Garden. From the left in the lower row: Okayama Castle, Ohara Museum of Art. The Kurashiki Bikan Area and the Okayama map are housed in a sea cucumber-walled storehouse of historical architecture.How wonderful it would be if I could introduce the world to some of Japan's famous landmarks, and this work is my expression of Japonism in quilt form.
