厳選したミシンステッチと、○△□の形、背景の英字のRAFU文字で、身重の女性の美しいシルエットを表現。
1920年代のアートやデザインを研究していた私と、フジタイズムが共鳴した記念の作品です。

The model for this work, which pays homage to the painting "Nude Woman and Cat" by the beloved Leonard Fujita, is his daughter, who was on her last month of pregnancy at the time.The carefully selected machine stitching, the ○△□ shapes, and the English RAFU letters in the background express the beautiful silhouette of a heavy woman.This is a commemorative work that resonates with my research into 1920s art and design, and with Fujita-ism.
